The Balochistan Education Department has announced a five-day Eid al-Adha break for all government and private schools across the province.
According to an official notification, educational institutions will remain closed from Monday, May 25, to Friday, May 29, for Eid celebrations. Schools across Balochistan will reopen on Monday, June 1, after the holidays.
The announcement comes as provincial governments across Pakistan finalize Eid holiday schedules.

Earlier, the governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also announced Eid holidays for their provinces. Punjab approved a three-day public holiday from May 26 to May 28, following the schedule issued by the federal government.
Meanwhile, the KP government announced a four-day Eid break from May 26 to May 29, while the Sindh government also approved holidays for the same period.
As a result, people in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will enjoy a longer Eid break compared to Punjab and the federal government’s three-day holiday schedule.
Officials said the federal government finalized the holiday plan to give people working away from their hometowns enough time to travel and celebrate Eid al-Adha with their families.
