PM Shehbaz briefed on Afghanistan during GHQ visit

PM Shehbaz Sharif lauded the Pakistan Armed Forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif visited the GHQ Rawalpindi where the military leadership provided him with a detailed briefing on the Pakistan-Afghanistan situation.

During the visit, the Prime Minister emphasized adopting zero tolerance against the alliance of Fitanah al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban regime and their disruptive activities. He described their actions against Pakistan as unacceptable.

PM Shehbaz Sharif lauded the Pakistan Armed Forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, stating that the forces are always ready to protect the country and fully capable of defending against any aggression.

He praised the military for repelling attacks in border areas controlled by the Afghan Taliban regime and recognized the armed forces’ professionalism in executing decisive counter-operations.

The Prime Minister concluded by asserting that the entire nation stands firmly alongside Pakistan’s armed forces to safeguard the country.
