Rawalpindi, 15 December 2025: Pakistan’s Security Forces carried out an intelligence-based operation today in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan District, targeting militants belonging to the Indian-backed group, Fitna al Khwarij.

During the operation, troops engaged the militants in a fierce gunfight, resulting in the elimination of seven militants. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased, who had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.

Tragically, Naik Yasir Khan, a 34-year-old resident of District Mardan, was martyred while fighting bravely. His sacrifice is being honored by the nation.

A sanitization operation is underway to clear any remaining militants in the area. This is part of Pakistan’s ongoing Counter-Terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. Security Forces and law enforcement agencies continue their relentless efforts to eliminate foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
