Daddy issues sparks tensions between Meghan Markle,Harry and Queen

A brand-new shocking book alleges that the conference call between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and the Queen and Prince Charles was “tense.”

After Thomas Markle appeared in several uncomfortable TV interviews in 2018, Charles and his mother allegedly pushed the Duchess of Sussex to make amends with her father.

According to author Tom Bower, Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were at the Queen Mother’s former residence, Castle of Mey, in July when the contact was made.

According to reports, Charles “berated” Harry for his wife’s choice not to reconcile with Thomas Markle and see him.

Tom Bower claims that Charles and “perhaps also the Queen” were angered by Meghan’s excuses in his book Revenge: Meghan and Harry and the War Between the Windsors.

The Duchess of Sussex was reportedly persuaded to travel to the US for a reunion by the Prince of Wales and his mother before the Queen apparently joined Charles in a conference call with Meghan and Harry, according to The Times.

And somehow expect to have a private conversation with my father without inciting a media frenzy or other intrusion that would embarrass the royal family further.

The call ended with both senior royals being “perplexed,” the book stated.

“I was especially sensitive to this as I had very recently married into the family and was eager to please them,” Meghan later admitted, according to Bowers.

Harry, meanwhile, is said to have worried that Meghan required security.

He apparently understood her anger of Buckingham Palace’s strict hierarchy and culture of reverence.

“They fundamentally don’t understand,” Meghan said during her visit to Castle Mey, the book claims.

According to Mr. Bower, Meghan was upset that palace officials refused to safeguard her reputation and wouldn’t acknowledge that staff members weren’t hired to advance her personally but rather to position her in the Royal Family’s power structure.

In his book, he wrote: “Meghan seemed isolated, vulnerable and stifled by convention.

“Apparently unwilling to accept that, unlike Hollywood, no one was counting the box office receipts of the crowds she attracted, she was waging a struggle for which she was not suited.

“Scornful of the Palace’s explanation that attacking the media would rebound on her, she adopted Hollywood’s rulebook and took the initiative.

“No other member of the royal family had suffered as much embarrassment from their own family as Meghan.

“There was some equivalence in Meghan’s contempt for her half-siblings, Samantha and Thomas, and now Harry’s for Kate and William, in particular.

“The Cambridges, she believed, were failing to offer the recognition and generosity she deserved.

“She hated the comparisons with uncomplaining Kate. Effortlessly, the Cambridges appeared to be perfect.

“Meghan appeared to be influenced by envy of Kate. In turn, the future queen regarded her neighbour as dismissive.
