King Charles watches Danish royal family with ‘great interest’

During a domestic “crisis” comparable to that of the Danish Royal Family, King Charles would have his eyes on the Danish Royal Family.

This week, Queen Margrethe of Denmark stripped four of her grandchildren of their prince and princess titles.

Instead of royal titles, the offspring of her second son, Prince Joachim, will acquire the titles of His or Her Excellency, Count or Countess of Monpezat.

Regarding the decision, royal journalist Jacob Heinel Jensen compares the current situation in Denmark to that of the United Kingdom two years ago.

He told MailOnline: “Yesterday we had a Prince Joachim going rogue on TV saying how upset he was, how his children are suffering.

“The parallels between him and Harry are there for all to see.”

Mr. Jensen then discussed Charles’ desire for a streamlined monarchy, remarking that he will be watching what is happening in Denmark with great interest”.
