Prince William could be the last king of the United Kingdom?

A royal historian says that Prince William, the Prince of Wales, could be the last British monarch to rule and that his son, Prince George, will never be king.

After Queen Elizabeth died in September, King Charles became king. Prince William is first in line to the throne, and Prince George is second.

In an interview last year, author and history writer Hilary Mantel said that she doesn’t think Prince George will ever take the throne and that she thinks Prince William will be the last king.

She told the media that Prince William would be crowned king after King Charles, but that would be the end of that line.
