King Charles II to release emotional Christmas message
The December 13 Christmas message sent by King Charles is being kept secret.
The monarch will deliver his first Christmas greeting from St. George’s Chapel, where his parents are interred, according to The Telegraph.
While the specifics of the King’s message are still unknown, The Telegraph stated that Charles will honour the late Queen Elizabeth and convey his love for and devotion to her principles in the greatest way possible.
The late Queen Elizabeth established the custom of the televised Christmas message in 1957 and delivered her first speech on the radio 70 years ago, according to The Telegraph.
Queen Elizabeth passed away in September at the age of 95, making Charles the next monarch.
