King Charles, William & Kate enjoy their first Christmas without Queen

King Charles III and other members of the royal family started their first Christmas as king on Sunday by going to a Christmas Day church service at Sandringham.

Charles and Camilla have been joined at the Norfolk estate by Prince William, Kate Middleton, their children, and other senior royals.

The Prince and Princess of Wales wished their online followers a Merry Christmas through Twitter. As a Christmas card, they chose to share a cute drawing by their older son.

The flag is flying over the house, which means that traditional royal celebrations are back. It’s the first Christmas since 2019 that members of the royal family will spend at Sandringham House.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children were also there, as were the Duke and Duchess of York and their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who last spent Christmas at Sandringham in 2018 with their royal relatives, did not go to the UK to spend the holidays with them.

Since his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died, this is the first time the King has hosted the Royal Family’s annual gathering at the Norfolk estate.
