Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are facing criticism for their remarks about the royal family, appear to have made the decision to spend the remainder of their lives apart.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reported to be “persistent” in criticising the monarchy and to have received accolades and multi-million dollar contracts for exposing “racism” in the royal family and other shortcomings.

Some royal analysts, writers, and politicians are advising the pair to stay away from the Firm and renounce their titles once they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 to live a financially independent life of their choosing.

Some are advising them not to go to any future royal events if they truly despise them because they criticise the family in front and the media.

“If they dislike the Royal Family so much why would they attend the coronation?” Current Parliament member and former Conservative Party Leader Iain Duncan Smith said of the couple to the DailyMail.

Lady Antonia Fraser, a British author, said: “I hope they don’t come because I want the king and queen to be the center of attention. It worries me that if they come the cameras might waste time on them. They should stay holding hands in Hollywood.”

King Charles III will be formally crowned in May after assuming the throne following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II in September.

Harry and Meghan have faced a great deal of criticism since the debut of the first three episodes of their Netflix series, primarily from British audiences. On December 15, when Kate Middleton will host her “Royal Carols: Together at Christmas,” a second set of programmes will be made available.
