Kate Middleton requested a last-minute modification to Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid attire for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding.

The Duke of Sussex describes how the Princess of Wales thought Charlotte’s outfit was “too big, long, and baggy” in his memoir.

As a result, Kate requested that her daughter’s outfit be altered before the wedding.

The mother-of-three gave Meghan a unique message in which she asked for immediate adjustments to the garment.

She was then instructed to see a tailor with Charlotte and the dress.

The Princess later apologised to Meghan for the inconvenience by sending her a note and some flowers.
