Prince Harry hopes the world will accept his “victim” bid
Prince Harry‘s upcoming memoir Spare won’t endanger the British monarchy, according to Andrew Morton, the biographer of Princess Diana.
Morton was described by The Mirror UK as saying that while Prince Harry’s memoir might raise questions and possibly garner international attention, “it won’t collapse the institution.”
And if the institution is so weak that it can’t tolerate a book ghostwritten by a junior member, it’s probably not worth maintaining it, he continued. To be completely honest, a book written by [a monarch], a future queen named Diana, and a book written by King Charles are far more pertinent and significant than a book written by, who is he now? However, the person who is sixth in line for the throne will quickly fall down the order.”
“The Crown is more rich and subtle than the blaring headlines, in contrast to what I believe people will be looking for in headlines, Andrew Morton continued.
The release date for Prince Harry’s memoir is January 10.
In a royal rift where leaks paint him and his wife Meghan Markle as villains, Prince Harry stated he sees “no willingness to reconcile” days before the publication of tell-all.
Harry, 38, reportedly stated in interview excerpts that he would still wish to reunite with his brother William, the British throne’s heir, and father King Charles.
