Reconciliation unlikely between King Charles and Prince Harry
Despite his charges against the British royal family in Spare, King Charles apparently wants Prince Harry to attend his coronation.
According to multiple reports, the King has asked Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby to mediate an agreement for Harry and Prince William to attend his coronation.
William apparently objected to his father’s decision to invite Harry, but is willing to negotiate with the King to persuade him to attend Mary’s coronation.
Marlene Koenig, a royal historian, spoke about the royal family’s plan to reconcile with Harry.
With his Coronation just weeks away, she urged King Charles should “not draw further attention” to Prince Harr’s biography.
The expert recommended the Royal Family to do what is necessary to reconcile with the Duke of Sussex, and suggested that ignoring the book is the wisest course of action.
“I am unaware of any olive branches,” she continued, but I also believe that it is better for the King and his family to not draw further attention to what Harry wrote, and let the family do what is needed to be done for a possible reconnection.”
