One of the many benefits of being a member of the Royal Family is being given a grand title.

Many of them are well-known, with Kate also going by the title Princess of Wales, Prince William as Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry as Duke of Sussex.

However, many royals have more than one title; some have two or even three additional but lesser-known titles.

Just today, it was revealed that letters patent were issued to officially approve a slew of new titles for William, the heir to the throne.

So, what are some of his, Kate’s, and the rest of the family’s titles? We investigate.

Following the death of the late Queen, King Charles bestowed the title of Prince of Wales on his oldest son, Prince William, but that is not his only title.

He also inherited titles held by his father, including the Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Baron Renfrew, and Earl of Chester. As heir to the throne, he is also Lord of the Isles and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland.

But it doesn’t stop there; he also retains the titles bestowed upon him by his late grandmother, the Queen, on his wedding day. The Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus are among them.
