Meghan Markle fears Archie & her fam would not get security
After receiving an invitation from King Charles, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry issued a statement about the Coronation.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed their invitation to the historic occasion.
The couple, however, has refused to confirm whether they will attend.
A spokesperson for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex told GB News: “I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation.
“An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”
It comes as the couple has been granted permission to remain in Frogmore Cottage until after the Coronation.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rushed into crunch talks with King Charles after he told them they had three weeks to vacate Frogmore Cottage following the publication of Spare.
However, following negotiations, it was agreed that they would have until after the Coronation to leave.
Just one day after the Duke of Sussex’s autobiography was released, Meghan and Prince Harry were told they would have to leave the property.
Spare, Harry’s memoir, contained numerous jabs at senior members of the Royal Family, including King Charles’ wife Camilla.
It is believed that the Duke of Sussex publicly criticising his stepmother crossed a line for the King.
The Sussexes’ spokesperson confirmed the couple had been asked to leave their UK residence, saying, “We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”
