Omair Rana believes game shows contradict the spirituality of Ramadan
Talented Pakistani actor Omair Rana, renowned for his exceptional performances, started his showbiz career as a theater actor and director. However, he gained fame through his notable television appearances, including dramas like ‘Pyar Kay Sadqay.’
With his brilliant performance in the famous drama serial ‘Ishq Murshid,’ he has been captivating audiences. Fans adore his character in the drama. He will soon appear in Bol TV’s Ramadan drama serial Chaand Nagar.
Recently, Omair Rana and Atiqa Odho appeared on a talk show to promote their upcoming Ramadan drama serial Chaand Nagar, which will air on Bol TV. It marks Bol Entertainment’s first Ramadan drama, directed by the talented Yasira Rizvi and produced by Babar Javed.
In the show, Omair Rana talked about Ramadan content. He said that “the game shows that air during Ramadan is against the spirit of the Holy month which is supposed to promote humility, humanity, empathy and love instead of gluttony and greed.
He added that “I do have a distasteful or unpleasant aftertaste of the Ramadan game shows or certain things about the game shows which promote the anti-Ramadan spirit, we should not encourage gluttony and greed, and instead, we should promote empathy and kindness”. He said that the content that airs during Ramadan should have relevance to the month.
