Former Pakistani model and television actor Sara Chaudhry gained immense fame for her innocent face and brilliant acting skills. She gained prominence through the PTV long play “Chokhat.” Her notable dramas include “Behlawa,” “Tere Pehlu Main,” “Teri Ik Nazar,” “Din Dhalay,” “Chahat,” “Malangi,” “Tum Kahan Hum Kahan,” and others. Sara Chaudhry made a conscious decision to leave the media industry due to her religious awakening. She joined the Al Huda Institute and dedicated her life to religious preaching. Sara, happily married with children, joined showbiz in 2002-2003 and exited in 2010.

Recently, Sara Chaudhry appeared on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast, where she discussed her religious transformation.

Speaking about it, she said, “My parents were always inclined towards Islam. They always emphasized Namaz and the Quran. My father was quite strict about Namaz. He used to ask me about prayers daily. My mother was regular with her Salah even in her youth. Also, we used to observe Ramadan with great zest. Besides this, I was very spiritual; I used to pray for guidance, wanting Allah to mold me into the person He desires. I realized that peace is found in Allah’s name and righteousness.”

She further added, “I realized that true guidance comes after aligning your life with the wishes of Allah. Amidst my career and reflections, another incident led to my guidance; my young Khala passed away at the age of 38. It was then I decided to leave the showbiz industry. It was shocking for me, a reality check. The restrictions imposed by my family also contributed to my spiritual transformation. As Sara Chaudhry, I wasn’t allowed to move outside with my friends much. These restrictions were a blessing for me, which helped in my spiritual journey. I never delved too deeply into the modernism of the media industry.”

Chaudhry said that “she joined showbiz to support her parents as she always wanted them to have a house and basic facilities as she was the only child and wanted to earn and used to pray for financial stability and siblings. Her parents had faced a lot of financial difficulties because of their early marriage. She said, my father’s friend fetched me a few modeling assignments after which I properly pursued media as a career. Even as a star, I used to be with my parents all the time, so they protected me as well”.
