Fiza Ali respond to Adnan Siddiqui over his statement
Adnan Siddiqui, a renowned Pakistani television actor and producer, has recently sparked viral discussions on social media due to his blunt remarks about women. During his appearance on Nida Yasir’s show, he compared women to flies following his encounter with a housefly that was disturbing him on the show.
The clip went viral and generated a buzz, prompting many Pakistani celebrities to call out Adnan Siddiqui. Mishi Khan, Ken Doll, and others expressed their displeasure with Adnan Siddiqui’s statement. The singer later apologized and clarified that his satire was inspired by Mushtaq Ahmed Yousfi.
Today, a video statement of Fiza Ali circulating on Facebook shows her schooling her colleague from the drama serial Mehndi for his remarks.
She said, “I was very upset about a viral statement made by Adnan Siddiqui during Ramadan. The statement was about women, and I decided to respond to it. However, I was delayed, but as a woman, I felt compelled to speak up. Now, a video of Adnan Siddiqui is causing a stir on social media. People are discussing it but not condemning it but I am extremely angry about it. I will express my displeasure regarding it. He compared women to flies. How could he, being a prominent figure, not think before making such a statement? Do you consider your wife, sister, daughter, and mother as houseflies? Adnan Siddiqui, you should apologize to women. You simply need to release a video statement acknowledging your mistake. Women are not flies.”
