Yasir Hussain, a renowned Pakistani figure known for his versatility in hosting, acting, comedy, and directing, gained rapid recognition through his debut film “Karachi Say Lahore.” His subsequent film “Lahore Say Aagay,” starring Saba Qamar, also received acclaim.

Hussain has been involved in significant television projects like “Shadi Mubarak” and “Baaghi,” and has recently ventured into directing, with notable projects including “Koel” and “Aik Thi Laila.” Additionally, he has hosted Eid shows.

Hussain is happily married to Iqra Aziz and is a proud father to his son, Kabir Hussain. Despite his love for acting, Hussain has expressed dissatisfaction with the roles being offered in the industry. He has also stated his reluctance to see his son pursue a career in showbiz.

Recently, Hussain participated in a short chat session, addressing his previous remarks regarding his son’s potential career in acting, according to Daily Magazine.

Talking about it, he said, “it isn’t hypocrisy if I would not let my son to do acting, also, there is a difference between your wish and the reality. I think that there is no work for the actors in this industry. I said it because, if you are a surgeon and aren’t allowed to do an operation, it is useless to be a doctor/surgeon. If you are not being given a good opportunity as an actor, then it is your death as an actor. Now, we see actors like Sajid Hassan and Ayub Khosa are not being given work. Likewise, if my son will join showbiz , he will be irritated with this same scenario. Where is the work for the actors?”
