Rubina Ashraf Responds to Senior Actors Criticizing Young Talent

Rubina Ashraf is a renowned Pakistani television actress who gained fame with the iconic drama serial “Kasak.” In addition to her acting prowess, Rubina is also a talented director.

Currently, she serves as an analyst on the drama review show “Kya Drama Hai.” Another notable drama she starred in is “Pas E Aaina.” Rubina is the mother of Minna Tariq, who is also involved in the showbiz industry.

Recently, Rubina Ashraf appeared on the show, where she discussed the topic of senior actors criticizing young actors.

Rubina said, “If the senior actors are criticizing juniors on their craft then they should be very thoughtful regarding it because only commenting on the craft isn’t enough, they will also be answerable to that actor. If they don’t have an answer then they don’t have the right to criticize, so! they should have the logical answer to that. Also, seniors in our industry are like our elders , they are there to teach us, we always respected our seniors and learnt a lot from them”.

Rubina Ashraf mentioned that she loved the concept of the show “Kya Drama Hai” when it was first explained to her. She always wanted to host a show where she could point out the mistakes in the craft of the actors working with her. However, she admitted that her colleagues in the industry don’t like her drama review show.

While many senior actors share their opinions on the acting of younger actors, Waseem Abbas and Nadia Afgan recently made headlines for criticizing the performances of actors in popular dramas like “Tere Bin” and “Ishq Murshid.”
