Veteran Pakistani actor and former singer Khaled Anam, known for his creative contributions to television, has recently shared his views on the current trend of celebrities critiquing dramas.

With a career spanning over two decades, Khaled Anam has been part of notable dramas like Burns Road Ki Romeo Juliet, Ishqiya, and Apne Hi Tou Hain. His hit song “Peeraan Ho” also added to his acclaim.

In a recent appearance on a talk show, Khaled Anam expressed his concerns about celebrities who, in his view, lack the necessary qualifications yet feel compelled to criticize television dramas. He emphasized that such critiques are often unwarranted and do not come from a place of expertise.

Khaled Anam, who is set to appear in the upcoming project Shindoor alongside Sanam Saeed and Fawad Khan, continues to be admired for his strong opinions and contributions to the entertainment industry.

Khaled Anam said, “The feedback for Gentleman has been great so far. The main thing is that people are appreciating the character of a progressive father. He is a strong man, and I hope I was able to convey that well. However, there’s another show on TV where the actresses critique dramas, and according to them, it’s a very bad character who is pushing his daughter into an affair with a man. That’s their opinion; they took it negatively. These things shouldn’t be happening. When we used to have our theater training, we learned that a reviewer should be qualified enough to critique a drama. If someone hasn’t studied theater, they’re not eligible to review it. Just because you don’t like something, that doesn’t make you qualified to critique it. A criticism can only come from someone who has studied acting and theater. Well, they are just friends, doing a show, it’s okay. Besides that, social media is a very dangerous thing; we all think we are entitled to give negative and harsh opinions about others”.
