Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is experiencing significant trauma following his kidnapping ordeal. He has revealed that he is contemplating a drastic change he never imagined before: leaving Pakistan and relocating elsewhere. This consideration has emerged only after the harrowing experience he endured.

He also discusses how his colleagues in the fraternity have not come forward to openly support him. He said that “he is his own friend and mostly people are just colleagues. He is also grateful that not everyone just came out and started attacking him which was something that happened 5 years ago when he had a fight on television.”

Qamar feels very disappointed by the criticism he received on social media. He added that “he would probably not want to be born in this country if given another chance as this country does not respect its heroes.”
