Pakistani 2025 Pride of Performance Award Winners Announced

This year, three individuals from the entertainment industry have been selected to receive the prestigious Pride of Performance award in 2025.

Fariha Pervez

Fariha Pervez, a beloved singer known for hits like “Dil Hua Bokata” and “Ve Main Tere Lar Lagi Aan,” will be receiving the Pride of Performance award. With a career spanning three decades, Fariha Pervez has captivated audiences with her melodious voice and exceptional renditions of ghazals.

Hamid Rana

Hamid Rana, a veteran actor and comedian from PTV’s golden era, will also be honored. Best known for his role as Sona in the timeless classic “Sona Chandi,” Hamid Rana has finally received this prestigious recognition after years of entertaining the public.

Sheeba Arshad

Sheeba Arshad, who played the iconic character Chandi in “Sona Chandi,” is another recipient of the Pride of Performance. Her portrayal in this PTV classic remains a cult favorite, and she will be celebrated for her contribution to Pakistani television.

Sana Safinaz

In addition, the renowned fashion designers Sana Hashwani and Safinaz Muneer, the creative minds behind the brand Sana Safinaz, will be awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz for their outstanding work in the fashion industry.
