In response to the negative comments, Shagufta Ejaz addressed the situation in a vlog posted on her official YouTube channel. The talented actress took the opportunity to respond to the criticism and toxic remarks aimed at her and her family amidst her husband’s illness. She expressed her thoughts candidly, addressing the public’s concerns and sharing her perspective on the matter.

Replying to the hateful comments, Shagufta Ejaz said, “there are a few comments which I shared at the start of my vlog that really hurt me. There are many speculations about me and my family. My husband has been suffering from cancer for five years and we have been taking care of him well, were you with me through all these years? We have been going through all the important treatments and medical procedures that are necessary for Yahya. You haven’t seen me going through thick and thin in these years, but you got so critical of me after spotting me in Dubai as if I am on any vacation. I have come here to get my bank account functional which was confiscated by the government and all my money was automatically transferred into their account. I came here to get it restored because I needed money. Secondly, I had to sell my bags and had to collect money, one of the tasks has been completed and the other one is still awaited”

She further added, “Let me tell you that I had always been part of the showbiz industry, I was always earning. I supported Anya’s education, I took care of Nabeeha’s education as well. Yahya used to take care of other expenses and I was looking after my daughters’ education. The property which I sold in London was solely mine as I often used to buy the properties. I married Yahya, just to provide my daughters’ a father figure because my daughter Anya used to miss her father. I am really sad about all the criticism I have been receiving from your end. I am really hurt. Please, think before being too critical and venomous towards others. Why have you been practicing so much toxicity. The comments I shared with you are the accusations hurled at me, I will never forgive you for this. Did I deserve this hate, it is up to me to forgive you or not and I decided not to forgive you”.
