Hiba Ali opens up about her regrets over a role she refused to play

Hiba Ali is a renowned and talented Pakistani actress known for her roles in hit serials such as “Dil Diya Dehleez”, “Perfume Chowk”, “Apnay Paraey”, and “Mere Jinay Ki Wajha”. Her recent successful comeback dramas include “Mayi Ri”, “Raah E Junoon”, “Shiddat”, and “Jaan Nisar”. Fans are particularly enjoying her portrayal of the negative character Kashmala in “Jaan Nisar”. Hiba Ali is currently busy shooting her upcoming dramas.

Recently, the brilliant actor appeared on the show hosted by Vasay Chaudhary. During the show, she discussed her decision to decline an important character in “Ishq Zahe Naseeb”, a role that was eventually played by Yumna Zaidi.

Talking about it, Hiba Ali said, “I regret refusing a play that was later signed and performed by Yumna Zaidi. It was Zahid’s mother’s character that used to appear in the flashbacks. I was offered Ishq Zahe Naseeb’s character which I turned down because I thought it was a side character because Sonya was already doing a lead in the drama, also it was Zahid’s mother’s role but it was a great character. It turned out to be quite lucky for Yumna Zaidi, as it turned Yumna Zaidi into a star. Yes, I regret that a great opportunity slipped away from me. I was offered the role six or seven years ago.”
