Recently, Tamkenat appeared on a podcast where she opened up about her personal life. She discussed her early marriage, the impact her divorce had on her children, and her thoughts on a second marriage. Her candid revelations resonated with many, offering insight into the challenges and hopes she faces in her personal journey.

Talking about her marriage, she said, “It was a love marriage, and I was 23 at the time of my Nikah. My mother agreed to marry me off on one condition, which was that I complete my house job. At that time, I was angry with her, but it was the smartest decision on her part because without completing my house job, I wouldn’t have been able to practice. It wouldn’t have been possible for me to be independent. She made sure that I worked and didn’t just sit at home. My mother was also a gynecologist, and my father was in the Army”.

Speaking about divorce, Tamkenat said, “I didn’t face anything after divorce because people knew that me and my family were strong, I had a nervous breakdown after which I took the decision to take divorce because I was told that my mental condition is deteriorating because of that relationship. It wasn’t physical abuse. I was in a marriage for ten years and nobody wants divorce without reasons, I am sure there are the valid reasons behind every divorce and it was my decision to take divorce because things were not good between us and the situation was heading towards divorce”.
