Ali Raza opens up about his character offer in “Jaan e Jahan”

• He was offered to play the second lead but chose Noor Jahan instead.

Hamza Ali Abbasi made his comeback with “Jaan e Jahan’, which enjoyed a successful run on television. The drama received widespread love, and audiences appreciated all the characters. Ali Raza, currently portraying Shahnawaz Shah in “Iqtidar”, revealed on “Something Haute” that he was almost part of “Jaan e Jahan” as well.

Ali Raza shared that “he was offered to play the second lead which he did not take on as he had already signed for Noor Jahan. The character was later on played by Emmad Irfani and he was appreciated for the role.” This is what Ali revealed:

Ali Raza also spoke about miscasting in dramas. He said that “he has seen dramas where the hero and heroine are not complimenting each other. Some leading men are too tall and the actresses do not look like they are matching up to them on screen and the frame consequently does not look nice.”
