Actress Nazish Jahangir summoned by Lahore Court for misusing money

A local court in Lahore has summoned popular Pakistani actress “Nazish Jahangir” to appear in person at the next hearing of an ongoing legal case. The hearing was held at “Lahore’s Cantonment Kacheri”, where the court reviewed a complaint filed against her by actor Aswad.

During the proceedings, Nazish Jahangir’s lawyer requested an exemption from her appearance, stating that the actress was unwell and currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. The court accepted the request and granted her a one-day exemption, but ordered her to appear personally at the next hearing. The judge also instructed her lawyer to submit an original medical certificate at the next session.

The case, filed by Aswad through his lawyer Chaudhry Babar Advocate, alleges that Nazish Jahangir received a sum of money from him but failed to return it, which the petitioner claims falls under the category of criminal breach of trust.

The complainant has asked the court to initiate legal action under relevant sections of the law. The court will continue hearing the case in the upcoming session.
