The actor openly called out Shaan Shahid for contributing to the downfall of Pakistani films. At one time, Shaan led the film industry, starring in every major project and drawing audiences with his name alone. However, the momentum didn’t last, and the film industry began to decline. Arbaaz Khan directly addressed Shaan’s role in this collapse during his remarks.

While speaking on a podcast, Arbaaz Khan said Shaan Shahid ruled the industry as its top star, with his face alone selling cinema tickets. However, Arbaaz accused Shaan of not fulfilling his responsibilities toward the industry. He labeled him unprofessional, claiming Shaan would arrive at 3 p.m. for a shift scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., working only 2–3 hours a day. According to Arbaaz, Shaan’s chronic delays and inconsistent availability created major scheduling issues for producers. He stated that this unprofessional behavior significantly contributed to the film industry’s decline, as it affected the quality of the final product. Arbaaz added that Shaan, despite his stardom, failed to support the industry as much as he should have.
