Talha Anjum breaks silence on claims of promoting violence and smoking in his music
Talha Anjum, one half of the popular rap duo Young Stunners, has been part of Pakistan’s music scene for over a decade. In a recent interview with Raftaar, Talha Anjum addressed criticism regarding the use of curse words and references to alcohol in his songs. He was asked whether he felt responsible for promoting violence, drugs, or alcoholism through his music.
Talha Anjum clarified that he has never promoted violence or negative behavior. He said people often misinterpret his words, taking them out of context. He added that his music often touches on important social issues, and that listeners should focus on those messages instead of fixating on specific words or scenes. “My songs reflect reality, not encouragement,” he said firmly.
