Following last season’s last-minute cancellations, England and New Zealand are scheduled to return to Pakistan between November 2022 and January 2023, according to a packed calendar released by the PCB on Friday.

In the 2022-23 home season, Pakistan’s men’s team will play seven ICC World Championship Tests, two each against Sri Lanka, England, and New Zealand, and 12 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League matches against West Indies, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, and New Zealand (three each).

The home season will begin on June 5 with a three-match ODI series against the West Indies in Rawalpindi.

In September-October, the English team will travel for a seven-match T20I series before returning in November for the three Tests.

New Zealand will follow soon after for two Tests and three One-Day Internationals before returning in April for a five-match one-day and T20I series.

Pakistan’s men’s team will also compete in the ACC Asia Cup T20 in August-September and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Australia 2022 from 15 October to 15 November.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan women’s team has a busy 12-month schedule that includes games in the ICC Women’s ODI Championship 2022-25, the U19 and senior T20 World Cups in South Africa, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and 19th Asian Games in Guangzhou, and the Asia Cup (T20 format) in Sri Lanka, according to PCB.

The women’s team will compete in three IWC series: one against Sri Lanka, one against Ireland (at home), and one against Australia (away).

In the lead-up to the Birmingham Games, they will also play a triangular T20I series in Belfast against Ireland and Australia.

However, the specifics and schedule for the domestic cricket season in 2022-23 will be released in due course.
