Asha Francis has been designated as Team Bath Netball’s new lead trainer, when Anna Stembridge ventures down toward the finish of the time.

Francis – who came out on top for three Superleague championships with Team Bath as a player, including one as chief, and got back to the group as Technical Coach this season.

“I’m truly energized for this open door,” Francis said.

“Group Bath is truly essential to me and a major piece of who I am, right back to first coming here as a University of Bath understudy, so I’m excited to have the option to make this next stride with a club that has given me to such an extent.

“I’ve been engaged with Team Bath for quite a while, as a player and a mentor, and presently I’m anticipating this new part.

Francis was important for Team Bath’s very first title-winning crew during the debut Superleague season in 2006.

“I’ve certainly gained some significant experience this year,” she said.

“There have been a few genuine difficulties, some highs and lows, yet we have dealt with them and procured another Superleague semi-last spot.

“I can hardly hold back to begin in my new job yet we have a tremendous task to take care of before then, at that point, with our last round of the 2022 association season at Saracens Mavericks on Saturday and afterward heading into Finals Weekend.
