“With the Irish predominance proceeding, just Shishkin and the evergreen Clan Des Obeaux kept the British banner flying at the top finish of the arrangement and are the main two to be evaluated during the 170s.
“The previous blotched his copybook at Cheltenham after an apparently milestone Ascot win, while the last option succeeded at Aintree for the subsequent year running and circled back to a decent second at Punchestown.
