Clinical Pakistan complete clean sweep against Sri Lanka

In the last match of the Pak-Sri Lanka T20 series played at South End Club, Karachi, Pakistan women defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets and made a clean sweep.

Batting first, the visitors scored 107 for 8 in 20 overs, with captain Chamari Atapattu scoring 37 and Hasini Perera 24 runs.

For Pakistan, Nada Dar, Kainat Imtiaz and Tobia Hassan took 1.1 wickets each. Pakistan women’s team achieved the target on the last ball for 6 wickets.

Muneeb Ali remained prominent by scoring 25 runs, Alia Riaz scored 17 runs, and Bismillah Maroof scored 15 runs not out.

For Sri Lanka women, Oshada Ranasinghe took 3 wickets and Koisha Dilhari took 2 wickets.

Captain Bismillah Maroof was named Player of the Match and Tobia Hassan was declared the best player of the series.
