Outside noise does not bother me, and I’ll gladly make sacrifices and have a worse season if it means my team still wins.

When it comes to batting at No. 4, I’ve always thought of myself as a batter. Batting is my first love, and it will always be so, so after we finished the auction, it was obvious that I would have to bat up the order to guide… I’ve been in similar situations previously, so I decided that the best position for me to bat is No. 4, so that the other batsmen can come in and express themselves.

Ashu pa Ashish Nehra and I both want to play five strong bowlers who can win you matches all day. Batters can clearly pitch in and ensure that we can raise our hand and say, “We’re there,” whatever or whenever we need batsmen. However, I’ve seen that while T20 cricket is primarily a batters’ game, bowlers often win games.
