Sadio Mane to leave Liverpool: Reports

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is said to leave the club, according to reports.

Mane is said to depart the club, according to James Pearce of The Athletic, albeit no agreement has been declared amid speculations that a move to Bayern Munich is close. Fabrizio Romano, a transfer insider, was the first to break the news of Mané’s impending exit.

Mane said that he will announce his future plans shortly after the Champions League finals, that Liverpool lost to Real Madrid 1-0.

However, Mane’s contract with the Reds is still valid for one more year.

The forward was actioned from Southampton for a deal of £34 million in the summer of 2016.

He won the Premier League title in 2019-20 along with wit Champions League in 2018-19.

The ongoing season has been full of achievements for Sadio Mane. He led Senegal to victory title at AFCON over Egypt.

While representing Liverpool, he won the League Cup and FA Cup.
