At a weekend event in the Swiss highlands, a supercar crashed very expensively.
At the 2022 Kerenzerbergrennen hill climb race on Sunday, the Ferrari F40 went out of control and struck a race barrier.
The limited edition 1990s vintage car—similar models of which can fetch up to £2 million—is seen being carried into the back of a rescue van in the wake of the incident.
Although the front of the automobile is damaged, the majority of the body looks to be intact, raising the question of whether it was a total loss.

The ‘turbo lag,’ or the delay between pressing the gas and feeling the rush of acceleration, is assumed to be what caused the collision.
Although nobody is thought to have been hurt, an ambulance was dispatched to the area as a precaution.
In the beginning of the video, the posh automobiles are seen moving slowly so that viewers may get a better look at the supercars.
Peter Rufibach, the president of the event, claimed that although it is loosely referred to as a race, it actually functions more like a “travelling museum.”
The fleet of vintage automobiles joined the ascent through the eastern Swiss canton of Glarus as it wound its way up the mountains.
The 75th anniversary race, which is somewhat difficult with 12 bends, is believed to have attracted about 15 private Ferrari owners.
It is unknown how the collision occurred because they had to follow each other in a straight line with a safety gap between them.
