Cordell Volson, a rookie offensive lineman signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday.In the 2022 NFL Draft, he was selected in the fourth round by the franchise.
Volson, who is 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, was a two-time team captain at North Dakota State, where he appeared in a school-record 65 games. Over his final three seasons, he made 41 consecutive starts. He was also a member of four FCS national championship teams and five conference championships, as well as being chosen to the AP FCS All-America First Team thrice.
It’s worth noting that the Bengals announced Volson as a guard/offensive tackle in the press release, indicating that they believe he’ll provide depth at both positions.
With this signing, all of the Bengals’ 2022 draught picks are now under contract as OTAs come to a close.
