Recent sources said, United and the Barcelona star have reached an agreement. It has been said that the Old Trafford giants offered around £50 million, with an additional £8 million in add-ons.

Therefore, the United executives must dig a bit further and pay a guaranteed £73 million. Only time will tell if the move will take place.

During the recent international break, De Jong claimed that he was content with Barcelona. However, due to the club’s financial difficulties, they are unable to turn down a substantial offer.
