Will Jacks led Surrey to a target of 173 with 76, his seventh fifty of the season, two days after his unbeaten 66 helped overcome Somerset.

Rizwan’s 48 was a bad sign. Jordan’s direct hit from mid off beat him when he changed his mind about a quick single and fell while trying to get back on his feet. Orr’s short edge cost him 30.
Jacks and Jordan appeared to calm the chase, but once Jacks left, Sussex calmly won.
