The right-arm quick made his international debut in 2016.
Hassan has represented Pakistan in 19 Tests, 60 one-day international, and 49 T20 internationals. He has grabbed 225 international wickets so far.
The 28-year-old bowler has grabbed many records in his 6-year career. He is the 5th fastest bowler to have reached the 50-wicket milestone in just 24 ODIs. He also holds the record for the 2nd most number of maidens (2) in a single inning in T20Is.
Hassan is the 3rd bowler who has scored the most runs (59) in an inning at his batting position.
In his outstanding display of performance by Hassan in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, he was awarded the title of ‘Player of the Tournament. He took 13 wickets with an average of 14.69 and an economy rate of 4.29.
Alongside the national cricket team, Hassan has also represented Pakistan A, Sialkot Under-16s, Sayid Paper, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Region Blues, Sialkot Under-19s, Sialkot, Islamabad, and State Bank of Pakistan.
This year, he also made his debut in England’s most prestigious tournament, County Championship, where he represented Lancashire. He performed magnificently with the ball during the tournament. The fast bowler took two 5-wicket hauls; one against Hamshire and the other against Gloucestershire. This feat earned him the title of ‘Player of the Month’ in April.
