Pakistan is ready for its T20 World Cup 2022 opener against archrival India. On Sunday, October 23, the Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the anticipated match.

Sydney and Melbourne are predicted to get rain from Friday until next week due to a third consecutive La Nina weather phenomenon.

On Sunday, the Bureau of Meteorology predicts 80% rain.

Since group stage matches have no reserve days, both teams will share points if there is no result.
