Zion Clark is, and will continue to be, a source of motivation. This past Saturday marked Clark’s debut in the professional mixed martial arts arena. He was born without legs as a result of caudal regression syndrome. He was confined beside Eugene Murray in the same space. Both parties were involved in a collision inside of Valley Center in San Diego, California. Gladiator Challenge: Seasons Beatings was the venue for the battle.

Because of his experience wrestling in college, Clark was able to come out on top in the three-round fight, which went the distance. All three judges gave Clark the victory with scores of 30-27.

Clark had previously assured TMZ that the fight would be “as real as it gets” before it took place.

“I’m trying my best to speed this thing up! This isn’t going to be some easy victory for either side. This s*** is going to be offered as a pay-per-view event. This is a real battle that has been officially sanctioned. It’s going to be big!”

Not only has Clark continued to defy the odds, but he has also taken aim at the UFC about Hasbulla, which has brought him to the attention of the media. Clark turned to his Twitter account in order to publicly request a contract with the most prominent MMA promotion.

“There is no way Hasbulla was awarded a contract with the UFC. I fight people who are literally twice my height and I still win.” If what you say is true, I’m going to fling little man about like a football the moment I meet him. I hereby pledge to you, Dana, that you must award me the contract unless you have a problem with disabled people progressing at the same rate as I do!
