Jude Bellingham, a top midfielder for England, is expected to reject a new deal at Borussia Dortmund, which will be very advantageous for many European clubs.

There is a lot of interest in Bellingham from clubs across Europe.

The adolescent is being pursued by Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool, among others.

Bellingham will meet with Dortmund this week because they want to know about his long-term goals before the season is over.

The Sun reports that Dortmund is prepared to make Bellingham its highest-paid player with a five-year deal worth £180,000 per week.

Dortmund won’t obstruct Bellingham as long as she gives them advance notice so they can find a replacement in the summer.

Earlier this week, Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic encouraged the midfielder and other young players at the team to stay.

“I believe that we need to work on keeping these young guys one year longer,’ Terzic told. “In my first season [as interim manager], I was able to put Jadon, Jude, and Erling on the pitch, but that was their only year together.”

“That was also partly due to COVID-19 and empty stadiums, there were financial considerations. But if we can get to the point where it’s two or three years of such a trio, maybe we can break the mould.”

Bellingham’s current contract is set to expire at the conclusion of the 2024–25 season, although it is seeming more and more probable that he will leave Signal Iduna Park.

This season, the midfielder has made 22 club appearances, contributing nine goals and three assists while sporadically leading the team. He also scored England’s opening goal in the FIFA World Cup match in Qatar against Iran.

After a lengthy winter break, the Bundesliga will begin this weekend, and Bellingham’s first game back will be after performing well at the World Cup.

A Dortmund director had earlier said that the club had not heard of any bids for the 19-year-old.

“There are no offers at all for Jude Bellingham as of now, nothing is decided”, he told Kicker. We will speak to Jude and his family, no pressure — there are absolutely no proposals”
