Najam Sethi asked India to tour Pakistan
The 2023 Asia Cup is scheduled to be held in Pakistan. however...
Najam Sethi says “Faisal Hasnain made attempts to contact Jay Shah, but no response”
Najam Sethi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee, gave an interview to Indian television.
“Fights continue in countries, cricket should continue. When the issue of holding the Asia Cup at a neutral venue is raised, then we will see” Najam Sethi
“We will contact the government, if the government does OK, then we will also do OK. If the government refuses, we will do the same” Sethi added
“The decision to go to India and play the World Cup will be made at that time, If the government says go, then we will go. If the government says not to go, then they will not go. Why playing at a neutral venue is not known, what is a neutral venue”
“Before announcing the schedule of ACC, you should have called or consulted us. On the one hand you want Pakistan to come to India and play the World Cup, on the other hand you say that Pakistan should not come and play the Asia Cup” Sethi
If the Champions Trophy is to be held in Pakistan tomorrow, won’t they also play? Faisal Hasnain made attempts, sent emails to Jay Shah for contact but no response.
A minimum answer should be, I would like to meet my young partner, I have been friends with Anu Raag Thakur.
You people have your own politics but we should have our own relations, India-Pakistan teams have not one but there are two matches in Asia Cup, everyone wants it, it also gives revenue, fans also watch it.
“This attitude that we are what we are, what we will dictate what we will say is not a good thing, We will say that the Asia Cup should be held in Pakistan, all major countries have come to Pakistan, so now there is no security issue”
England, Australia and New Zealand have come this year. Now what’s left? We’re not asking.
