In the past, the white-ball team for New Zealand’s ODIs against Pakistan and India included fast bowler Blair Tickner in place of fellow pacer Adam Milne due to worries about the latter’s preparation for bowling in 50-over cricket.
Beginning on January 9 in Karachi, a three-match ODI series between New Zealand and Pakistan will also include games on January 11 and 13. New Zealand will visit India from January 18 to February 1 for a tour consisting of three ODIs and as many T20Is following the completion of the tour.
While Tom Latham will replace Kane Williamson as captain of New Zealand for the 50-over matches against India that will be played on January 18, 21, and 24, respectively, at Hyderabad, Raipur, and Indore, Kane Williamson will serve as captain for the one-day internationals against Pakistan.
On January 27, 29, and February 1 at Ranchi, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad, respectively, they will also play three T20Is in India. The New Zealand team, however, has not yet been selected for the T20I series against India.
