PCB management taken noticed of unpaid PJL players
The management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken notice of the non-payment of players who participated in the Pakistan Junior League (PJLsole )’s edition, which took place in October of the previous year.
Ramiz Raja, who served as the chairman of the PCB in the past, came up with the idea for the Pakistan Junior League (PJL). However, the league has since been cancelled by the management committee, which is now led by Najam Sethi.
Despite the fact that it was announced that the PJL will come to an end, sources told Geo News that the management committee will handle the non-payment difficulties faced by the players.
According to the sources, the former chairman, Raja, purposefully held up payments to the players.
After having problems with domestic cricketers not getting paid, Sethi and his organization decided to look into this topic as well.
Furthermore, according to certain sources, the PJL’s foreign players were paid seventy percent of what was owed to them.
