Four players from Bangladesh who are currently competing in the inaugural U19 Women’s T20 World Cup have been called up to the team for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, which will take place in South Africa from February 10–26.
The 15-member team is led by wicketkeeper-batter Nigar Sultana Joty and includes Shorna Akter, Marufa Akter, Dilara Akter, and Disha Biswas. The four athletes are currently representing Bangladesh in the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa’s Super Sixes round.
