Adam Rossington has been selected to partially fill in for James Vince, who will miss a few games of the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League.

According to a media statement from Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday, Karachi Kings have signed wicketkeeper batter Rossington to partially replace Vince, who would at least miss Karachi Kings’ seventh, eighth, and ninth game due to being a member of England’s ODI squad for the Bangladesh series.

Rassie van der Dussen has been signed by Islamabad United as a temporary replacement for Moeen Ali, who won’t be available until March 14 owing to obligations abroad. Moeen Ali was the recipient of the replacement choice that Islamabad United had previously allocated for him.

Australian player Peter Hatzoglou has been signed by Peshawar Zalmi as a partial replacement for Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, who won’t be available until February 19 owing to commitments abroad. For Mujeeb in the Replacement Draft, Peshawar Zalmi had previously reserved their replacement choice.

It is important to note that PSL season 8 will take place from February 13 to March 19 at four different locations. In Multan, the opening ceremony and match between the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will take place.

The Peshawar Zalmi, led by Babar Azam, will face the Karachi Kings in their opening match on February 14 at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
