Azam Khan, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Islamabad United, said on Friday that his father, Quetta Gladiators head coach Moin Khan, had commended him for hitting 97 runs in the 13th game of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Premier League (PSL).

The right-handed batsman hit nine boundaries and eight maximums while scoring 97 runs in just 42 balls.

In the final five overs, he assisted United in scoring 92 runs. His impressive strike rate of 230.95 led United to the highest score in this tournament—220-6.
