Khel Ka Junoon: QG spinner’s department fails today says Ramiz Raja

• Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by 63 runs on Tuesday.
• Former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said that individual performance is important.
• Saqlain Mushtaq and Penalist Suhaib Ahmed both praised Lahore’s collective contribution.

Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by 63 runs on Tuesday at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi in the tenth match of the ongoing eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Speaking to Bolnews’s special transmission “Khel ka Junoon” former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said “It was upset inning by Quetta Gladiators, spinner’s department could not fulfil required expectations, they were supposed to control score on score board but unfortunately it was 80 in just 8 overs.”

Ramiz went to say that “Individual performance is appraisable but when it comes to collective contribution as Lahore Qalandars batters did today was immensely appreciated,  Naseem shah need to work hard, he has to bring variation in bowling “He added.

“Haris rouf is our star but today his bowling was not sensible, when match becomes critical after powerplay, making rookie mistakes can cause big damage.” He concluded

Panelist Saqlain Mushtaq powering Ramzi’s statement said that “Collective contribution made the victory easy for Lahore Qalandars, No player made 50 from Lahore Qalandar but yet their Strike rate and intensity of playing was speechless.

Saqlain said that “Lahore Qalandars’  all batsman performed good” talking about Lahore Qalandar’s bowling Saqlain said Rashid khans’ spell was confusing for opponent team, He could be alarming for next matches as he has variation along with pace” he concluded.

Another Penalist Suhaib said ” From the Inning’s start Lahore Qalandar’s every player  contributed as responsible individual, everyone continued attacked.

Suhaib Ahmed went to say that “Sarfraz has good knowledge of cricket but today, his algorithm of using left handed bowler when it was not needed is questioning, meanwhile as I think they added Hafeez in the team for bowling , but  he is allrounder though as a Captain  Sarfaraz must act sensible to get advantage of senior player.”
